• Short-term profits must be the guiding force for all actions.
• Fossil fuels are our God-given resources and we need to dig them up, drill them out, and dissipate them.
• Our children’s children can fend for themselves
• Buying and selling are what makes us human.
• The atmosphere is ours to fill with smoke, smog, carbon, and pollutants
• The oceans, lakes, rivers, and streams are there to carry our filth, spills, and industrial waste.
• Domestic animals are brute beasts created exclusively to serve our desires.
• Global warming is a sign of our great success
• Sustainability is a ruse designed to divert attention from our mission to deplete resources.
• “Emissions caps” are part of a Communist plot to shut down our economy.
• No new homes should be built smaller than 10,000 square feet. We need room for more things.
• Clear-cutting forests can produce more solid wood entertainment centers.
• Automobiles should be HUGE, expensive-to-drive, conspicuous status symbols. Anything less is un-American.
• Creating and consuming more electronic gadgets will solve all our problems.
• Buying local goods is risky and unhealthy.
